Using my background in marine ecological research and communication, I strive to connect and involve people in marine conservation by all means, and facilitate connections between society, science and policy.

I consider myself a mediator, threading and narrating the intersection between knowledge gaps in marine science and field knowledge of outdoor communities.
Based at sea on my sailboat, I manage and provide consultancy for science projects interested in gathering more data through public participation, and for outdoor sport projects interested in collecting ocean data while at sea. Simple, emotional and scientific storytelling is at the core of my work, speaking and moderating at events, sharing stories of the Ocean, its people and its scientists online and offline. Alongside this, I coordinate dissemination and on-field activities for projects looking to upscale the power of community science to advance research and empower people.
